not juice from concentrate

January 31, 1999

Wow! Somehow January just kind of got away from me. Things got very busy very quickly with school and the rest of my life kind of drops away when that happens. Last week was crazy; lots of things due and three interviews for internships. Now if someone would only offer me a job...

I had a great weekend. I slept enough to make up for not sleeping last week, I read some more of "Love in the Time of Cholera" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. (It's a really great book.) Last night I had friends over and we made yummy vegetable tempura in my wok and had some 7-layer cake that Erin brought in from Detroit. It was very, very good. She is such a nice girl to share her things. Today I worked a lot on sql queries for my database class, but we don't need to talk about that cause right now i am NOT in love with sql. But I am listening to Ben Lee so it will be a good evening and I will get lots of reading done.

The world is a very small place. At least it is in Michigan. 2 degrees of seperation for everyone born or raised or attending school in this state. Especially if you or any of your friends ever went to Camp Tamarack. Trust me.

Quote of the Weekend: "This Internet stuff is no good."
Jeremie said it last night and unfortunatly I can't remember the context right now, but if I do I'll stick it in cause it was hysterical last night.

Less than 3 weeks till my birthday! I turn 21 on Feb. 19. Mark yer calendars. TTFN.
