not juice from concentrate

January 8, 1999

Today was a very exciting day. This morning I met with a Computer Science concentration advisor and officially "declared" my major. What this really means is that my paperwork no longer tells the world that I am a senior and my major is UNDECLARED. Oy, and they just have to capitalize those letters on the course schedule, don't they? This also means that my oh-so-pricey caen account is covered under tuition instead of coming directly out of my pocket. Ahh, happiness.

This declaring thing also gives me an excellent excuse to hang out with my friends tonight. We went out for a lovely sushi dinner and later on we will watch some DVDs and drink happy sparkley stuff. Not a bad evening at all.

Tomorrow I will have to start in on the massive amounts of homework thrust upon me in the past two days. Joy. If the snow lets up a bit, I might go to the mall and buy a swimsuit. I decided to take a a water aerobics class this term after taking a little trial class yesterday. (I know what you are thinking and it's not just a new year's resolution thing; i got other reasons so wipe that smirk off yer face.) It's fun and a great workout. Who can resist running and dancing around in a pool to funky music? I am powerless against funky music. :)
