July 22, 1999 With each passing day I am growing more and more intolorant of stupidity; especially in the workplace. This summer I am working in a very large company on a fairly important and interesting software project. I have met many intelligent people since I've been here, some probably approaching brilliant. Then there are the others. The 'worker bee' employees that make up the bulk of so many companies. Here, they ask the same questions to the same people as often as possible. I've spent the last three days trying to explain one concept, which is not too difficult to understand, to one individual. How he got this far, I don't know; it boggles my mind. Thankfully he's left me alone for most of the afternoon cause he's deeply involved in a mindless side project.
I hate the smell of someone chewing Oreo cookies.
