Tonight I spent some time looking at my poor, not-quite-healed, burnt toes and I wanted to take a moment to remind you all that SPARKLERS ARE STICKS OF DANGER. This goes for all kinds of fireworks. If you are going to be silly enough to play with them, wear close-toed shoes at the very least. No more for me, that's for sure! I will content myself with watching the big ones in the sky instead of holding them in my hand. Burnt toes are no good!
