not juice from concentrate

First things first. Today's statement to think about is:
Don't ask questions you don't really want to know the answer to.

Moving on, it was another beautiful day here in Ann Arbor. I sat through a couple hours of class and as usual, they were all less than remarkable. I went on a lovely walk/run this afternoon in the arboretum which made me feel all fresh and good, but was probably the catalyst to the nap that came later in the afternoon. It was all worth it. I cooked up a batch of fresh, homemade Tabouli and it tastes amazing. So easy and so much better than any of the mixes I've tasted. I promise the recipe will get in the recipe box.

In the continuing saga of trying new vegetables, I think I have found my favorite leafy green: kale. Mmmn! It's like spinach's saucy big sister and it just makes me want to go "raaar" like a cat. Ooh, baby! Kale is not quite as delicate as spinach but it's leaves are attractive and curly and they pack a hefty flavor punch (not to mention any of the vitamins). For dessert tonight I had strawberries with a touch of half-and-half. There are no words to describe how wonderful it tasted.
