WOW!

I saw the Pet Shop Boys tonight. Just one word: fabulous! I've wanted to see them in concert ever since I was six. Tonight lived up to my wildest dreams. Erin got a photo pass for me through her Daily connections, so I got to bring my trusty Nikon into the show. We got there early as to get a spot on the floor close to the front and we did fairly well with that. I planned on getting a few stray heads in my pictures, yet just as the show was starting the security guy pulled me up to the very front and told me I could go in the photo area. Ohmegosh. The photo area was a 3ft deep area that spanned the length of the stage, between the stage and the people barricade. We were allowed to take pictures only during the first four songs, but my proximity to Neil Tennant more than made up for that. I could not have been more than 2 or 3 feet away from him, though I was about 4 feet below him. He wears very nice boots, I can tell you that much.
