Oy, I hate rudeness! Sometimes I feel like having a bunch of stickers printed out that say something to the effect of "Congratulations! You are officially the rudest person I've met today!" Yesterday at the post office, a manager-type guy came out from a back room through a door that opens on to a space where people queue up while they're waiting. He makes his way to the other side of the room by walking through the queue and shouting "hey people, move to the left side, move to the left side. Ohh, good. I'm so proud of you all."
A woman up a bit in the line and I just gave each other a look that was like "what a creep" and I said outloud: "charming.". Ugh! What makes someone think they have a right to treat other people like that? You do not have a right to treat anyone poorly. We are all just people. Being demeaning to others is a quick and easy way to get on my $#&@list.
